Hearings to resume

The next block of evidential hearings at the Sheku Bayoh Inquiry are scheduled to begin on Tuesday 9 May, 2023.

The sessions, due to be held over three weeks, will continue to take evidence related to the events of 3 May 2015.

Witness schedules will be published on the Inquiry website in advance.

As previously, hearings will take place at Capital House in Edinburgh and will normally run Tuesday to Friday, from 10am till around 4pm. They will be streamed live via the Inquiry YouTube channel. The hearing block is due to run until Friday, 26 May.

Members of the public who would like to attend in person should consult the attending as a visitor section of the website for more information. 

The last block of hearings was held between 31 January and 17 March, 2023.
